There is a need to forge linkages between the jobs being created and those currently inactive people. 

Providing jobs for local people is a task that requires a co-ordinated approach by the Council and a range of other agencies.

In partnership with other organisations including the Welsh Assembly Government and other local authorities, we manage a number of initiatives designed to create new job opportunities for Carmarthenshire. At the same time, we are working to ensure that local people are ‘job ready’ and best placed to take advantage of those opportunities.
