The Deposit Carmarthenshire Local Development Plan sets out a strategy and policies which will shape the manner in which the County changes and develops in the period to 2021. It allocates land for housing and employment purposes and indicates where these and other uses will be permitted, in addition to identifying areas where policies designed to protect the environment from inappropriate developments apply.
The Deposit LDP has been produced following extensive consultation and participation, and its publication presents an important opportunity to submit representations in support of, or in objection to, its content.
The following documents were made available for consultation from the 22 June 2011. The final date for receipt of comments was 19 August 2011 at 4:30pm.

Deposit LDP Representations
The Council has made available for inspection the non-site specific representations which relate to the policies or text of the Deposit LDP, the Sustainability Appraisal Report and the Habitat Regulations Assessment. A list of these are available to view by clicking on the following links:

These do not include alternative site representations (site allocation representations) and it should be noted that the publication of these representations is not part of the ‘Alternative Site’ consultation and their content is not open to comment.
