Morfa Children’s Centre kick starts summer with family fun day

Families can kick off their summer in the Olympic spirit with a sports-themed fun day at Morfa Children’s Centre.
The free event takes place between 10am and 2pm on Monday, July 23, when there will be plenty of fun activities including a bouncy castle, crafts and games for all ages.
The centre, based within Ysgol Maes Y Morfa, provides a safe, stimulating environment for families with children under five during term-time, and up to 10 during school holidays.
As well as providing support and advice for local families, the centre also hosts daily activities such as story sessions, structured play and craft.
Families also go on regular trips and outings as a group.
Janine Patrick, Sure Start Development Officer, said:  “The fun day will be a great opportunity to welcome new faces to the centre and introduce them to the fantastic facilities we have here, and also the support networks we have in place to help local families.”
The event is being run in partnership by the Carmarthenshire Children’s Partnership, Plant Dewi, CYCA, Genesis and Communities First.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.Follow us on Facebook
