Temporary Closure of Ammanford Bus Station for refurbishment and safety works

Ammanford Bus Station will close temporarily from Monday 25th June 2012 for approximately 10 weeks to allow refurbishment and safety works to take place.

During this period, bus services will be unable to use the Bus Station, and will instead pick up at the following locations in the Town Centre:

  • 103 to Llandeilo: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park) and Wind Street (Miners Welfare Club)
  • 124 to Brynaman (First Cymru journeys): Carregamman (bus stop next to car park) and Wind Street (Miners Welfare Club) except that the early morning buses at 0618 and 0718 from Tycroes will NOT pick up at Carregamman
  • 124 to Tycroes: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park)
  • 124/125 to Brynaman/Ystradgynlais (Veolia journeys): Ffordd William Walker (opposite Wilkinson)
  • 126 to Tycroes/Cwmgwili: Ffordd William Walker (Wilkinson)
  • 127 to Betws/Garnswllt: Ffordd William Walker (opposite Wilkinson)
  • 128 to Cross Hands/Llanelli: Carregamman (bus stop outside Argos)
  • 129 to Cross Hands/Carmarthen: Carregamman (bus stop outside Argos)
  • 129 to Penygarn: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park)
  • 130 to Myddynfych: Ffordd William Walker (Wilkinson)
  • 145/146 to Cwmaman: Ffordd William Walker (opposite Wilkinson)
  • 164 to Drefach & Pontyberem: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park) and Wind Street (Miners Welfare Club)
  • 165 to Llanelli: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park)
  • 165 to Cross Hands: Carregamman (bus stop outside Argos
  • 278 to Llandeilo: Carregamman (bus stop outside Argos)
  • X13 to Llandeilo: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park) and Wind Street (Miners Welfare Club)
  • X13/X14 to Pontardulais/Swansea: Carregamman (bus stop next to car park)

School buses G7 and G14 (to Ysgol Maesyryrfa) and T17 (to Ysgol Tregib) will pick up at Wind Street (Miners Welfare Club). The afternoon G14 journey to Tycroes will pick up at Wind Street (Shoppers World).
