Graffiti

The Street Cleansing service is responsible for the removal of graffiti from public areas and public buildings.

The council is working closely with Dyfed-Powys Police to remove any racist, sexist or offensive graffiti as soon as possible.

We shall also provide advice about graffiti removal for private buildings and businesses. Quotations for private work are available on request.

Our graffiti removal equipment uses no harmful chemicals and is environmentally friendly in its operation.

The process uses a range of techniques from soap and water, to a fine water jet spray combined with bicarbonate of soda. Specialist graffiti removal is undertaken on murals and we also use anti-graffiti paint to protect public art works.

If you wish to report graffiti for removal, please email, phone or write to our Street Scene team on telephone: 01267 234567, email: direct@carmarthenshire.gov.uk  or contact Carmarthenshire Direct.

You can now report graffiti online by completing our Graffiti Report Form.
