The STEPs III Trostre Project, Llanelli opened in May 2006 and is the third STEPs Project opened by Carmarthenshire County Council.
The aim of the Employment Strategy is to improve and modernise Day Services, to provide more opportunities for Life Long Learning, career planning, valued occupation, voluntary work and supported employment.
Employment and education allows people to develop new skills throughout their lives in appropriate work settings. This will increase people's confidence and independence.
During 2003 the Modernising Day Services/Employment Strategy Group, met and consulted with service users. They have identified a list of meaningful activities that are being developed from STEPs III, Trostre.
