Employer Liaison Officers will ensure a successful link with local companies, to assist with recruitment and access any available funding by:
- Providing a link to Employers within the area to assist with their recruitment needs
- Helping make recruitment cheaper, easier and quicker for companies ensuring suitable candidates are made available
- Looking at the most effective ways of recruiting to choose the best candidate for the job - more than just a traditional interview!
- Providing a wealth of knowledge to companies to ensure that all avenues are explored to assist with the cost of recruitment, training, staff retention and on-going support
- Sharing their knowledge with Workways participants to find the right person for the job and the right job for the person
- Passing on their knowledge of job vacancies to participants so they can prepare themselves through training and work experience to be a suitable candidate
- Creating temporary positions covering a range of job opportunities to assist with the first step on the career ladder.
