Energy Monitor Loan Scheme
Did you know that you can borrow an energy monitor in the same way you can a book, cd or dvd? From 18th May 2010, Carmarthenshire residents will be able to borrow an energy monitor for free from Carmarthenshire libraries.
Fight the credit crunch!
Britain is Europe's worst energy waster, with bad habits such as leaving appliances on standby set to cost households £11bn by 2010.
The average household in the UK spends around £1,300 per year on energy, which is set to increase even more with rising energy prices.
Leaving a PlayStation 3 in “idle mode” could add £164 a year on to your electricity bill!
Energy monitors can be used at home to help save energy and save money on bills.
The display unit (pictured below) will show you how much electricity you are using and what it is costing.
