Arts Development

Our Arts Strategy sets out the focus and policy of arts and theatre services. We also directly promote and develop the ‘Night Out’ in partnership with Arts Council Wales, craft markets and arts in the community projects working out of our directly managed arts venues of Y FFwrnes, Lyric and Miners’ Theatres, Y Gat, Boat House and Oriel Myrddin. This strategy provides an oversight of the Council’s interests in cultural activities, advises on policy development and manages the Council’s partnership arrangements for developing joint services with others.
