Walking Leaflets

The County Councils’ series of County Walks leaflets feature recommended routes from some of Carmarthenshires' most well known and best loved sites like Carreg Cennen Castle, Laugharne and Dolaucothi gold mines.

Other less well known, but non-the-less beautiful and fascinating areas, like Drefach Velindre, Pembrey Mountain and Cwmdu are also highlighted. Each one offers both the first time visitor to the area and local people an opportunity to enjoy the unique beauty and fascination of the Carmarthenshire countryside.

The text and map covering each County Walk gives an indication of the length and difficulty of the recommended walks as well as interesting information on the natural history and archaeology to be enjoyed along the way.
